Wow! Monty's is the best vegan restaurant I've EVER been to. Not only is the impossible meat delicious, but the other ingredients in the burger, like the lettuce, onions, and pickles, were so fresh and not oily at all! I am SHOCKED at how full I was after eating my burger. And the fact that I didn't have a stomach ache after eating a ton of ranch and house sauce made me so happy. The staff is super friendly and laid back and the environment of the restaurant is so comfortable. I will most definitely be back.

I've been here a few times and have always had a positive experience. The interior is kitschy, there's plenty of seating, and the all vegan menu is expansive. Single Cheeseburger - 4 1/2 stars. For being a vegan burger, this is quite good and fresh. Also, I prefer "Impossible" Burgers to other vegan style burgers and am so happy they offer that here. Shoestring fries - 4 stars. Also quite good, though Ive definitely had better fries before. If you're vegan and looking for burgers, fries, and shakes this is definitely a good spot. Easy parking and friendly service, too.
Monty's Good Burger had a pop up food truck at the Camp Flog Gnaw Festival, and I was able to try their chicken burger. And let me just say, the chicken burger was bomb, I couldn't even tell that it was plant based. Tots and fries with their house sauce was crack as well. The people that helped with the order was very nice as well. I would love to try their other burgers at their main location when the time comes!
Ugh... insanely yummy vegan food. What else can I say? That I'm sad I live too far? Yes, there's that too, haha. Their secret menu is fantastic too, check it out! Cute exterior too.
I enjoy the shakes, tenders, tots, and fries. Personally the burgers have a slightly odd consistency but overall everything is delicious.
Went here for dinner with the wife. This place is awesome. 100% vegan, which blew my mind. I had the hotdog, and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between a traditional hot dog and this one. The scenery is pretty unique as well. I took some pictures so people could see. This was a great experience, I want to try more of the menu!
This is my fourth time at Monty's but my first time at this location. I absolutely love the vibe of this place and how cute the branding is. I try to minimize dairy in my diet and this place is heaven sent (especially for the milkshakes)! The cashier was great and the food came out pretty fast. We ordered a double patty with everything on it. We decided to cut it in half and it was the perfect size for a meal. We ordered fries as well and they gave a generous portion of fries for it being $5. I love how they take pride in the presentation of their food-makes you forget it's not real meat!
Monty's is heaven for a plant-based girl like me. My burger was juicy, filling, and was a perfect late-night dinner for me! The staff were super nice as well and they even left coloring mats at the tables! It felt like I was at home and doodling like a kid (in the best way possible). Next time I would love to try their shakes! Side note: the art and decor inside is super cool!
Checked out the Echo Park location of this popular small local chain of plant based burgers. It happens to be located close to the Laveta Terrace Stairs. Monty's is completely okay for vegans. Everything on the menu is plant based including the shakes and the cheese. The prices are higher than the usual fast food, but are better compared to other vegan burger places. A lot of the menu is typical of fast food. It's a lot like the older diners in style. There's the bright blue interior with neon and whatever. All the menu is plant based. There's not just burgers but also shakes, and "chicken" sandwiches. It's about $8 for shakes, which were a pretty good size and thick as fuck. We thought these were an okay price considering how much was in these. It's $12 for the single burger. These come with the usual toppings including vegan cheese along with lettuce, onions, pickles, and tomatoes. A bit much for what looked like a McDonald's burger, but these were full of flavor. The other thing is we would have liked to have gotten fries, but we already paid too much for everything to be honest. Everything is good except the prices of course. It's too much to get a side with the drinks and burgers that are already pricy. There's lots of options as in everything here is good for vegans and vegetarians.
